I know we need the rangers down on pinns. I see them stop people on the beach for no seat belts. Hey they are only going 15 miles an hour. I seen them helping people out that got stuck. I wish they would inforce the low road for driving. Today I don't know how many people were taking up 60 to 70 feet from the water. It's not right for them to ran there lines across the low road. By the time 25 trucks go around you have to stop and put 4 wheel drive on to just get around them. I stopped and tried to tell them what they were doing wrong and all I got was F--K you. So I took his plate number and stuck it on my dash. Next time when I'm coming north and he is there I'll take care of all his lines with my pipe I stand up for stupid people like him. See you down the beach one of these days. This is far all you aholes.

Leaving the park today some jackass parked his big freaking truck in the road...in the freaking road...not the low tide road ...the main road ...kids were running in and out of the truck and suv (also on the road) and they gave no care to the cars trying to go around or even trying to tell their kids to stop standing on the tiny freaking space (soft sand) that they left for people to try and get around ....dont like weekends on the sand...

The problem is some people think of the beach...as a beach...and others think of it as a road. So lets face it...us that fish the beach alot follow these common courtesy rules that others have no idea even exist.

Ugly to the bone, and stupid is tangled in the gray matter. Never going to get that backlash out of their head.

Watched a guy with the wife and kid in a new dodge charger show us how to rip the complete front bumper assembly off his car last weekend. He realized it was too soft, so he puts it in reverse and starts going backwards on the high road. He don't realize the inside lip of the bumper is plowing sand, about 30 seconds of that, WAM! Bumper comes flying off, he and wife get out and try to figure out how to put it back on. We laughed till it hurt! You can't fix stupid!

It's really not worth getting angry over. These people that do these things don't come out often enough to know the informal rules we go by to be courteous to others.

Don't depend on common sense either, because it just isn't common.

Maybe if the park has a basic diagram of traffic flow on the beach and the appropriate places to park, maybe.

On the other hand, there are enough people that regularly drive by way to fast, in between the water and camp sites, that it causes those of us with families to park and set up camp so that they can't do that. There are people that think they need to drive through the area between the water and camp instead of going around, which common sense would tell to you NOT to do, and many don't slow down. When Kaitlyn was younger, I would park and setup like that, because of too many inconsiderate jerks. Mind you, I would never block the road way, and there was always room to go around.

I can even understand those that dig small speed dips around their camps to slow people down. I have stopped and told some that they over did it when they are a foot deep.

Over the years, I have gained enough perspective to just not worry about it. If I can drive around them, that is fine. Big deal, I had to turn my wheels, and maybe engage 4wd. I'm out there to relax, and it's not worth stressing out over.

I have been parked right on the water line with maybe just enough space for a truck to pass with all the lines out on my shark rack. I was not blocking any road. It was packed on both sides of my truck and someone acted like they were going around then swerved back under my lines, 2 tires in the water, between me and the water almost taking out the whole spread. There is just no avoiding the idiots. No matter what rules you make or what you think would be common sense there will always be stupid people doing stupid things. I just hope that because of their stupidity no one gets hurt. It would suck to run over someone's kid just because you decided to be a jerk. It's something I always think about before I do anything stupid now. It's just not worth it and I hope when I have kids they will realize it's not worth it too.
