| What are those little silver fish? I want to go surf fishing for little ones like that just for the fun of it, can you eat those? I have a small rod I used for perch that would be a lot of fun catching them. And you use the fish bites on a small hook? Looks like you had a good time! |

Most of those fish in the pics are pompano....the best eating fish found in the surf in the opinion of most. They are caught on hooks sometimes around 1-2-3/0 as their mouths enable them to "nibble" sort of like a drum and the smaller hooks with a piece of shrimp and a fishbite improve hook up rates....in my experience which has been lackluster as of late.
Nice catch and good pics. That driving sure looks a little stirred up in that area. _________________ Mike |

Motion in the ocean
I have no idea how you made the first picture work, but I like it as with all the others. |

I didn't even realize that Google Picasa took a series of pics I uploaded and turned then into a animated gif... _________________

I would really like to kayak there. Can a small 2wd truck handle that sand, looks tough? & how do you get there? _________________ ROOFISH |

Yes you can drive down by the water. Take Beach Access road #2 to beach and turn right and head towards Fish Pass Jetties.... _________________
