Well, the webcam link is not going to help you with a 12/15/12 image. Been on the pier twice this week and the water typical summer time off color with periods of just enough clarity to offer more than one option to fishing. I've been focusing on reds with some really fun fishing for whiting while waiting for the reds to bite. This time of year you have to take your chances, especially if your coming from out of town.

Water along the beach is sandy...lots of fresh seaweed washing in.

Went out to check the water out yesterday.
The clarity was fair, weed light to moderate but that varies thru the day.
Did not see many fish at all caught the time I was there.
Not much bait in the water for the slide liners either.
So far this year BHP has not come close to what it was last year. Last year it was on fire.

We are here at the La Mirage condos, been here since Friday, and the water is a beautiful blue/green past the 3rd gut. Grass is heavy on the beach but I would say very little in the water.
