It doesn't happen very often, but I was whooped. It's a beautiful morning with no wind right now, and clear skies. That could change later this morning. The barometer has dropped to 29.95 ( perfect ). It's currently 58 degs and the humidity has shot up to 85 %, rainfall 0. It will be a good day for me to try and finish the roof on the storage shed.p

I should have slept in. Caught two dinky trout. Nothing would touch top waters. Maybe next time. Yesterday was much better.

I could have gone fishing but I decided to get after it on my storage building for bamared / renthouse. It's now ready for shingles, windows, and siding, and a outswing door to conserve space. I do like having a project to do.

No and Deb is really sad. I will have to find her another. She wants a female Siamese but will settle for a male. I think the coyotes got her.

IMS, sorry to hear about your cat. We have a big orange male that stayed out unusually late Friday. My wife threatened that I won't be going to Corpus if he didn't come home. He finally showed up without his collar and headed straight to the back of the house. He must have had another close call.

Made it to the Bluff Sat afternoon and found my boat exactly where I left it many beers ago. I declared the batteries to be dead and not capable of holding a charge. Did start the engine but have an issue with the alarm. Spent Sunday morning puttering around the boat barn and then made a stop at Roy's on my way home.

Fish report: Sat eve I did release two 15 inch trout by walking in for an hour. One on a baby skitterwalk and one on a paddletail. Best of all I got to watch the sunset over the water.

Plan to be back in a couple of weeks packing new batteries and going to put the boat in the shop.
