there were spanish caught on the pier as recent as last week, and I heard reports of them being caught there as early as 3 weeks ago. Also smacks have been caught at both packery and port A jetties in good numbers when the water isn't chocolate milk.
Not sure about kings off the pier yet, but the recent report from the Port A 8 and 12 hour trips say they are catching them steadily right now. _________________ ...if my boss ever finds this forum I'll be unemployed... |

I know the kings, smacks, and jacks were all in down at the spi jetties weekend before last. Lots of bait getting blown up _________________ If there is a picture of a fish above I'm a happy man |

| Spanish were there during Easter, I was there this weekend and saw a few Spanish but not enough bait in the water around the pier. One jack was caught this past weekend. There have been sightings of a few kings when the Spanish were there. Catch a Spanish on a plug and a king rips it up on the way in. It'll be game on when we get a stable weather pattern. |
