Decided to take a chance on the weather window if you can call it a weather window. The trip started with 4 kayakers going out and ended with only 3 making it past the breakers. We donated fish finder/GPS, 1 brand new rod, and broke a mirage drive. We were just able to make it past the breakers and head out to Davidson's/Hastings spot. We arrived to the "spot" and within seconds all three of us were hooked up. APD448 had his limit of snapper in two drops using a double drop rig. I was using two rods at the same time tying to catch up. We all had our limits within ten minutes. The conditions started going down hill soon after we caught our limit of snappers. Seen a larger Hammerhead shark estimated between 7-8ft. We decided to call it a day due to the conditions. I was the first one to try and get past the breakers and was unsuccessful, this was the first time I've ever flipped in the breakers. Next up was APD448 and Rockhopper. APD448 tried the "Paris Hilton" method and failed three times, the breakers would stand his kayak straight up then roll him to the side. Rockhopper was the only one that made it back in without flipping, he was using a PA 12 and came in backwards. Here are a few pics. of the trip.

Good job on those Red Snappers. I started to change my handle to Turtle King from Troutless. LOL In BTB fishing It's when are you going to turtle, not if your going to Turtle.

Not sure if the "donations" outweigh the fish in this situation but you guys will definitely be eating well. Congrats on the fish and the experience
