Hey Gulftrout,
I recently spoke (last week)with Bill and am gonna try and fish with him first week of May if his health permits. He's not doing to well so pray for him if you get a chance. I'm wanting to fish Baffin for my pb, and he's telling me we need to go somewhere else because of the issues going on with the water in Baffin. I'm always intrigued by him and his stories, and will be sure to ask him about that day and how you knew his dad. Thought you would like to how he's doing.

On another note ,how is Baffin right now. I know there are still some water issues , but seems like there are some hogs being pulled outta there right now.

I have that old VHS, and it's a keeper! I remember getting it early in the 90's when I was working in San Antonio, and it firing me up between trips to head down to the coast to fish.

In addition to Bill Sheka's taping, there are other memorable trips on that tape.

I think it would have been fun to fish with Howard Brown. On the tape, he and his wife seemed to have a good time on the water, even when catching hardheads as I recall.
