Next week I'm bringing my son to Kemah & was wondering if any of you could help me put him on the some fish Trout/Reds/Flounder anything really just want him to catch some, so if you could make best bait/lure suggestions & locations from the bank/pier/bridge I'd really appreciate it Smile

Open to pm's if you don't wanna post publicly, will remain secret as I don't get to the coast that often..

& if it's not right in Kemah that's ok to as long as it's in the general area....

Thanx in advance from my son

there is a pier in san leon called the 18th street pier. its been known to have trout and all kinds of fish. not sure of cost cause i havent been there since hurricane ike tore it up. its rebuilt now. glavston has many places to fish. i go to galveston fishing pier across the street from the movie theaters. they have a face book page and also www.galvestonfishingpier.com and they post the tides everyday and what is being caught there. they are now open 24 hrs . i do know they have been catching a ton of keeper reds bull reds sharks some flounder pompano. the girl that works daytime and she will fib about whats is being caught to get you down but i know others there and they are truthful . there is the 61st pier in galveston plus seawolf park. not much in kemah. texas city dyke also a good place. the piers in galveston pricey and seawolf you have to pay for parking also. there is surf fishing all over. san luis pass on west beach is great but also treacherous too. the current is always fast there.
