Today was a beautiful day at Packery. Fish caught or seen caught: reds, flounder, pompano, sheepshead, LARGE perch. Did not see nor catch any trout.
Large school of pony mullet (1000's) came crashing through the channel. They started at the end and worked way in as far as I could see. It appeared as thought they were making their own wave. I assume jacks or something was after them. They were moving so fast I did not get opportunity to throw something out there. |
