Good tip, Zia.
Look forward to a good catch report. You've already posted about the good eats. Now I'm hungry and want to go fishing (can't today).

WHO LET THE BOATS OUT...WHO WHO? Man fishing was tuff capital T. We fished shorlines, flats, channel edegs ( where we did our best ) 3 keepers/trout. Topwater action was starting off good until the gates opened, and they did open, lots of traffic. We had scattered reports from other fisherman who were calling me to ask where's the fish? We had some great blowup action but not enough takers today. Funny all the boats went south. As we were coming back across the JFK there was not many boats in the boathole or in deadmans. Maybe they all left and came right towards us. Heck it's a big holiday weekend, it happens.
The new prop works great funny thing though, it's the same size, same make, but turns faster by 4-500 rpms at max speed and trimmed out. The hole shot is very fast. Anyway thats my report hope someone else did much better. Very Happy

Weekend warrior time is tough enough, then throw in some nice weather and a holiday weekend, it's D-Day.
It's tough for all of us some days. That's what makes a good day so special. Thanks for reporting back.

If it's any consolation IMS it was crowded on the water yesterday, I had to go a little further south than what I wanted to and still got run over, still the trip south was worth it, there was a good late bite.
Glad to hear your prop issues seem to have been corrected.

Its strange that 2 props same size same pitch have differences between them. Prop school 101... Rolling Eyes I wanted to go further south but time was against us.

It's all about the report for us locals it's like back scratching. Cells phones and friends on the water are also helpful. Very Happy Except for today . We just found out from one another that catching wasn't happening. Yes it was still a good getaway.
