My comp. crashed so I have no pics with report.

Went to PINS this morn and fog was thick. Stopped at about the 8 because driving was bumpy and hard to see debris until on top of it. Fished there about 30 min. with nothing. Went to about the 18 went fog thinned out some. Put one rod out and put it in holder. By the time I grabbed my other one to put out, the first one was loaded with weed. Tried here for 15 min and gave up and headed back north. About the 13 beach looked cleaner but weed was worse.

Stopprd just north of 10 and it was very fishable. Deployed 3rods. 1 with fb/shrimp and the others with cut mullet. Wound up with 3pomps, a dozen whiting and a 29.5" red all on the fb/shrimp combo. Caught a 40" blacktip on cut mullet.

Weeds started making its way north and by 12:30 was too thick to fish comfortably. Drove sbh on way home and weed was resl bad but water was remarkably cleaner than down south.

Saw Jeff Wolda and Yakhappy down there. Sbh I think I saw Sapo's truck. Looked like a lot of forum members were taking advantage of nice weather before the front.

I was down about 8 miles in on PINS didnt get there till around noon. Didnt catch a thing. Weed wasnt to much of a problem. I'm driving a newer Silver Tundra Crewmax, stop by next time. I will probably be out there again next week depending on weather.

Me, my girlfriend, and another friend were out at sbh today. The weed was terrible and we didn't catch anything. I didn't see anyone else catching either. The beach was pretty crowded.

Sounds like a good time was had by one and all. Sorry to hear that the fish did not cooperate for all as well. Dag gum weed!

It was good to meet you yesterday Zia. I went to the end. Weed was bad till about the 30. Water was bad from the 30-55. Had the last 5 miles to fish. Grinded hard looking for trout but ended up with lots of slot reds caught on swim baits. Great day to be on the beach. Jeff Wolda

40" shark. What kind? Nose is rounder than blacktip, as well as no black tips.

Nice pics, Zia. And thanks for stopping by....it was nice to meet ya.
And yea...the park was loaded...lots of people. We had a blast but the weeds were a tough customer.
On one of my last casts with cut bait...a huge chuck...I mean huge chunk of weed got tangled with my line...it was darn tuff trying to reel it in. When I finally did....there was a bunch of baby crabs and stuff living in it....way too funny.
Oh well....it was a darn good day tho.
