Looking to do some paddling just BTB tomorrow morning and was wondering how the surf looks and if there is any bait around. Not planning to go far but wanted to run the beach to see if jacks/bonito are in yet.
If its a sloppy mess I'll probably just hit the bay. _________________ ...if my boss ever finds this forum I'll be unemployed... |

Hit the bay.
Drove by BHP this morning, water was rough, looked like chocolate milk.

Saw this late, but the surf looked less than optimal at Caldwell around lunch. Breaking out towards the end there. A solid 3 rows. Would make for an adventurous BTB trip.

Just as well. I think it might be a little early in the season anyway. _________________ ...if my boss ever finds this forum I'll be unemployed... |

| surf has been dropping through out the day. waist high at the biggest about an hour ago. The NNW wind seemed to have knocked it down a bit. Color still resembles a fudge puddle. |

Yep, that's what it looked like at the packery at 1...no bites and surprisingly the traffic wasn't bad....there was also a little weed but not too bad _________________ A country boy can survive

| Water was murky this evening, but was calming. By buddies are going (long ways, power boat, not btb) offshore tomorrow, would be with them if I had the time. Back to BTB, water looked pretty bad pretty far out. Personally, I wouldn't mess with it in a kayak. |
