If you have waders and want to wade out to get to the fish I like anywhere from the 6 mile on down. If you have time my favorite area for eating fish (whiting , pomps, this time of year) I go to the 17 mile to the 20. Usually find a hot spot in that area. Look for a pinch where the sandbars are closer together and the fish are usually there. Just the outside of the second gut or the front side of it is usually good.
Being able to cast long is a huge help.
Wait for a calm day and you can see the guts clearly. Then you can begin putting the picture together.
Enjoy PINS and don't forget to take something out with you. The place is a treasure and we need to take care of it. _________________ Protect our treasure PINS |

Best have a 4WD.
Beer is good payment for aid. So I would take an extra case just to be safe. |
