Hello everyone. Taking my 8 yr old son and 6 yr old daughter fishing on pins for the first time. Was wondering if the pomps are still biting in the surf around little shell? Any info would be appreciated. Leaving tomorrow morning.

Tomorrow should be a nice day for fishing. There are scattered reports of pomps. Have fun with the kids.

Between pomps and whiting you should catch something. Hope that you and the kids have a great time.

On the way back to the meeting place after we finished with the clean-up, one guy stopped for a little and did some fishing and he only caught 1 pomp. I thought about staying out a little to do some fishing but decided to head back home since I only got 4hrs of sleep and have been up since 430am, lol.

They're around. Water was very churned up today. It will be again tomorrow, just not as bad. You'll have to work for them, but they are around.

Caught half a dozen each pomp and whiting around the 17 on saturday. It was slow at first but the sun came out after lunch and the bite picked up
