Man, you spend some time in Robstown at the Showbarn for the stock show, and the conversation goes off-the-rails!!!!! WOW!
At least the Breeder rabbit category was a good on for the young'un, she placed 5th in her Division. Hopefully the Market and Fryers will do as well tomorrow.
[And if you are wondering, I am still shamelessly taking any and all donations for the Blue Ribbon sale on Saturday!!!!! ] Chill folks, the weather will warm eventually. Until then, Like Luke mentioned, check out the Food and Beverage side of the site - I know I'm smoking some more cheese while the weather is still cold..... |

I've smoked quite of bit of I thought everything. Never have tried smoking cheese. Do you just place your favorite cheese in a regular smoker? Mesquite? Oak? Pecan? Ash? Hickory? Is it a special cheese or can I smoke Velveeta slices?
Ok kidding on the Velveeta but inquiring minds want to know.

This is all pretty funny.
I haven't posted any reports because it's been to rough or generally crappy to fish lately.
I keep threatening to go fish the PA NJ but the weather and/or tides haven't been right.
No Offshore reports/advice because I haven't been since September.
As for the future of this site, I think it'll do just fine _________________ I'd rather be fishing |

Whoop '94 | I also enjoy reading his and pretty much everyone elses reports. This site is as good as any and definatly the best if your interested in the fishing and fish catching around in the "Coastal Bend," area. Looks like the weather will be greatly improved the next couple days and I plan to take advantage and go golfing! Please no golfing comments from the opposing side! |

Sounds like my wife. No matter what I catch... skipjack, hardhead, speck, jack, whiting....it doesn't matter...the first thing out of her mouth is "Is it good to eat?!" or maybe "Why did you let that one go?" |

BR....
when i was on that trip, we caught chingos of trout, it was an exceptional weekend (last weekend around Cole Park), we could not buy a trout less than 20 inches, between the 4 of us, we released 22 trout over 25 inches in just a couple of hours...
when i called her and sent her some pics, would you believe the only thing she replied with was...."yeah, i love you too hun, but i don't see any redfish in the pics, you didn't catch any redfish??" i didn't know what to say....she loves redfish on the halfshell and our freezer is empty on reds...
i explained the dream weekend we just had on the water near cole park or was it around the T-heads, i'm just not sure anymore, but i had my PB trout at 29" and change....that still didn't change her mind of "so, you going to hunt for redfish or not"
love that woman!
