"But Port A encourages and welcomes tourism. Wish we did here in CC."

Corpus and the surrounding area is seemingly getting the Rep as the break-in Capital of the Gulf Coast.

Not good my friends for tourism.

Despite dredging, fishing is still good at packery as of yesterday. Don't throw in the towel just yet. Good numbers of trout, spanish macks and bluefish still being caught in the channel, along with some small mangroves and a handful of decent sheepshead on live shrimp.

Thanks for the heads up...I was wondering if the fishing had gone out with the tide yet because of the dredging...

Disclaimer - I was fishing a strong incoming tide so the water was beautiful in the channel. Not sure if the outgoing tide would look different with the dredging, but I would still be optimistic.

Fished for about 4 hours on npj...no luck...didn't see anyone pulling in anything either...incoming tide not too bad...seaweed was nominal...mullet was a hit or miss...
