Pretty much the same as Tyler for me. Around 10 years old got me a Crossman .177 BB/pellet gun. Took really good care of it and took down many many birds and critters with it. _________________ I like fishies |

13' boston whaler. Was in the family for years, passed down from grandpa, to dad, and finally to me on christmas when I was 16 yrs old. Took that boat out fishing, clamming, and crabbing every week that following summer. Worked overtime to pay for the gas. _________________ ...if my boss ever finds this forum I'll be unemployed... |

Right around a Christmas break when I was 11 years old, my father sent me out to the garage to get something, where I discovered he purchased the family a 15' Phantom center console boat. Tons of memories.
Looking back years later, I still cant figure out how there was room for dad, three boys, and tons of fish. _________________

Best eve! Wife put a brand new motor on my boat.
To make the surprise, she said she wanted to go fishing with me, something she never does, thus I found my present. To top it off it was an great day of fishing. But I love for my wife to go out with me because she always brings good luck. |

When I was 18 or 19 I remember standing a walking pier watch in Yokosuka , Japan on Christmas eve extending into Christmas it was very cold and lonely.
My best I guess was my 1st with my wife 35 years ago. Now any Christmas spent with my family is tops.
The best Christmas story I ever heard was from My step dad. It was a Christmas day bombing run in ww11. They flew on a b-24 Liberator he was flight engineer and top turret gunner. They got all shot up from flak guns and could not make it back and had to drop out on the return. Somehow they managed to land at an allied fighter strip got a quick patch up. Taking back off they barely cleared the end of the runway. When they got back to base, they had already pack the crews bags thinking the boogie man had gotten them for good or they had crashed. They got a doughnut and a cup of black coffee. He said a couple of other crews didn't have it so lucky. He was always cool about how he put things. Still sends shivers up my spine. _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |

So far, i think my favorite would be my first bbq pit. Its something i am pretty sure my dad came up with and he was never good with picking out gifts (mostly my mom did all the shopping). It was my first gift after moving out of my parenta house and i still grill on it once a week. _________________ Great captains, the stuff of legend, are made not by what they have caught, but by what they have given back. |

1973 Yamaha 60 Mini Enduro, My dad told me to go take out the trash on Christmas Eve and when I opened the door to the garage there it sat. I think I cried with pride for 45 minutes, what memories. I was 12 years old and remember it like it was yesterday. _________________ Salad, Salad, everywhere and not a bite to eat. |
