Fished today by boat with Texasman357. He got the two largest flounders. I finally got one too, so I didn't make him swim back to the boat ramp for skunking me.

After stopping at a few places on the Intracoastal, we started getting action south of the JFK bridge. We marked the precise spot for you with discarded cut bait skeletons.

Weather today was pleasantly warm with a mix of clouds and sun, plus wind direction changes. Surface water temps were a bit cold. Most of our catch was caught bottom fishing. However the sheephead, my first, hit a shrimp under a bobber.

Flounder had an appetite only for ladyfish cut bait. The whiting and sand trout hit fresh shrimp and Fishbites.

MANY, many, small spec trout were given their freedoms.

All in all, it was a relaxing day, with a couple meals of tasty fish as a bonus.

Thanks for posting good comments. It was the first sheephead I caught, so I was not aware how litle was left over after fileting. I've seen people catch and keep smaller ones. Now I wonder why they kept them.
