Got a 52" on the Flagship Pier in Galveston about 11 years ago. Never seen one that big here, though. _________________

Dog snapper ....very big, gulf

my very first red
caught thanksgiving 2010 around mile marker 17.
43"
walmart special rod/reel with cut squid
lost another monster later.. he straightened my circle hook and my dad had one break his line.
sadly since, i've only caught one 26" and a handful of teens |

Its always funny to me to hear the term "bull red", when most of the largest redfish are female.
They ought to be called "Cow Reds"

Not sure on Largest drum but im 6'1 and this fish was massive..
My biggest red was off Indian Point Pier off bait fish around 3am!

| Mine is only 34" but I've seen some HUGE ones being pulled from the surf and jetties like 50"s. yesterday I saw a single 40" red cruiseing the packery flats threw some plastics at it but it wast hungry for that. Tried to take a picture but couldn't get the boat close enough. |

Drum 31" Boat Hole still looking to pull in a 40" + this year
