No rain on the island yet. Here's a link to the Davis weather station I have on my roof.

Just got back from Port Aransas. The wind has picked up a little with a few small scattered showers in the area. I checked out the pier to the right of the ferry landing headed toward Port Aransas. There were a few reds being caught around the pier and along the ship channel. One guy told me that they were biting best on an outgoing tide. The tide was pretty slack but I saw a couple slot and oversized reds being caught. This might be a spot to try if the surf gets rough this weekend. I think this pier is called Charlies Pasture Pier and it looked like everyone was fishing with finger mullet.
