I didn't bring any rod today but I should have. Redfish were everywhere today at the jetties towards the tip. The key was soft plastics and cut mullet on the bottom. There wasn't a person without fish today. I did some diving on the bottom and saw plenty of trout as well. Looks like things are starting to pick up!! See y'all out there. _________________ -Fred- |

Was in the middle of the action Wednesday and of course it was great fun and good fishing--lots of folks helping each other out. Caught a 33", broke the rod, so I got even and tagged him. You could see the school of reds circle the end of the jetty--pretty cool. Now this Early AM (9-13) different story --one skipjack nothing else caught--had to leave at 9 AM to get back to SA--On Wednesday saw Live Mullet , cut bait and a very productive gold johnson spoon with a bit of red on the tail--they all worked. _________________ A little salt water in your veins is good for you! |
