Headed to jetties this morning looking for reds to fry up for the Cowboys game tonight water was good color on surf side, kinda murky inside the channel. Current was also ripping. Hooked on to a 27" red first.[img] 
Then the fun really began when i hooked on to this bad boy. He went 36" and was released to fight another day.[/img] 
Ended with two more slot reds to.complete my limit. Now to prepare the fish tacos for the game.
Also lots of bait in water on surf side and channel side.

I was using live mullet, plenty of them moving through the channel and along surf side of jetties.

Thanks for the input. Will be heading down with the wife, fishing the other side next Wednesday and Thursday. Looking forward to a little salt air and hopefully a few fish.
