Came across this big ol tarpon today south of bob hall.it measured 89inches yes 89inches over 7foot.im no biologist but it didn't seem to have any kind oh gashes or marks it did have a hole in the side which i hope was not a gaff but probably a bird.had to take some pics.not the way i would have wanted to take pics of this beast. anyone have any info on this fish.thats a scale on the beer can

That Sir, is one very UNFRESH fish. Looks like its been rolling around in the surf for some time.

Cool scale picture on the "beverage container", though. Smile [Bud Light is nasty enough not to warrant the term - beer Razz ]

you couldn't have paid me to cut that fish open lol. i came from north sticks to bob hall so not sure how far down but i would say 4 or 5 miles the water did looked super clean .

It was just "aged". Makes for a more tender steak. Very Happy

And I agree with the Bud Light assessment. That's why I drink Natty. Very Happy
