What weight anchor holds best in the ULM and Baffin (in sandy areas). I've got an 8 lb. and it's not doing the trick for my 21 ft Kenner style boat. I've anchored from different points on the boat (I prefer at a 45 degree angle). And Please no smart remarks. Thanks...Adios

Look at Fortress anchors, my dad has one and it holds his 24' blazer bay with t-top also my buddy uses one on his 22' shallow sport. They are extremely light weight but they hold awesome _________________ Casey

I have an fx 11 fortress now... it holds OK, but my old 13 lb danforth style anchor held better.
how much chain do you have? put a 5 or 6 foot heavy section of chain (3/8" or so), and it will help a lot. |
