Disgusting. I don't get why everyone talk about those. Hardhead is the best tasting fish.

#1 for smaller baits - spook jrs, small skitterwalks, ect

1/0 for most everything else, although I have some 2/0 on top dogs, and super spooks. I leave the middle hook off the SS.

Very Happy Very Happy Jewelry. That's classic. My wife calls rod holders and seat on my kayak " accessorizing". They just don't understand.

Yep either double split rings or "ringed" hooks, just make sure you get the hooks turn up correctly. Use quality rings and a good pair of split ring pliers is a must. I've gotten where I change most all my split rings out with 2x rings I buy in bulk off of ebay, I think the bait company's are trimming cost with crappy rings as I've seen quite a few of failures in the last couple of years.

I use the live bait hooks which have a solid ring and just put them on the split ring. I think they are Mustad's. I know I got them at Roy's.

i saw that chart, one size up front, different size in the back, kinda confusing.seems like size 1 is kinda heavy for SSs and Skitter walks. 1/0 they seem to sit right but man, thats a thin hook..
