Not too bad. Definately fishable at low tide. Driving is excellent thanks to the recent highs. I've only hit the beach around Packery but have had decent luck lately.

thanks TD...thinking of making a day run since we have off tomorrow...thinking of hitting the Mayan Princess at first light, then leap frogging down the beach....should be surf trout time....

I was at the North Sticks beachcombing on Sunday, and like topdog says, the recent high tides and the rains have the beach really packed down. The water is back to where it ought to be, but the amount of weed rolling in is off and on, and when it is on, there are LARGE mats rolling in. Makes the beachcombing great, but not so much so on the fishing side.
Decent current too, with "Moderate Risk for Rip Currents" posted today. |

As long as the wind stays SE youll be fine, A NE wind pushes that water to the dunes. Heading out there with Bluffer today, will report back. Hopin for some bait mainly.

thanks fellas...looking forward to the report when you gents get back.
mainly looking to trout hop down the beach and maybe a long line for a unlucky redfish or 2 or 3.
