This will make you think twice about taking the dog fishing.

We are not too far away from this happening. Choke Canyon has the same problem with alligators. As per Nat Geo Wild we are in trouble here in Corpus Christi with their documentary "Sharks In The City". We have bull sharks in our canals and beachs making it unsafe and dangerous to swim. Saw the biologist drive right past the house in the show. My brother in law is always wanting to see if we can catch a big one and call the media once we have a 1000 lb bull shark.

What do you do when attacked by a large gator while kayaking? Reach in your shorts and through a handfull of crap at it. It will be there. Laughing

What was really scary was the Goldman Sachs commercial prior to the video!

Was the Dog taking a swim or did it fall into water after the gator bump him?

Really did not think much about this when I saw it on Texas Kayak Fisherman because I could not really make out the dog or gator. But I do appreciate the multiple postings as it will hopefully help thin out the kayakers from my spot on Cavasso Creek! Razz

Didn't someone catch a state record bull shark several years ago in Capano Bay?

i saw about an 8ft gator come floating by the pier at the aransas pass wildlife refuge pier about a month ago. Saw a guy wading around 200 yards from it. If i saw a gator and i was walking id probably run on water

Not sure about that masetgunner but it wouldn't be a big surprise. They have to be there. For gators though, they are in that area. I've got pics of the ones popping up at night right off the boat ramp\fish cleaning station at Goose Island S.P. They don't seem to mind us or the bright lights late at night, not shy at all.
