It was a tackle store located in Saxet Center that was owned and operated
by a man named Bob. Had all of my work done here.

Going west on leopard turn right into saxet center (across from new elementary) all the way down on the left. Bob Ranuagh who was the original owner sold the store a couple of yrs ago. I used to go by a couple of days a week and have lunch with Bob. He actually taught a rod building class at Delmar for about 5 yrs back in the days. He had some very unique things and ALOT of quality fly fishing equipment.

just thought i would mention that there isnt anything left worth wasting the time and gas to go over there. Hit it yesterday and it was pretty much like digging through the bottom of your tackle box you had about 20 yrs ago to find nothing much but old worms and shrimp tails. dont waste your time.

I went by today, they were unbolting the glass showcases (sold) I was able to talk Todd into giving me all the pictures off the wall behind the register. I'll be seeing Bob Saturday in Corpus and going to give them all back to him. There are photos in there of the early sixties. Very very cool, easily 500 photos! Some of the biggest reds I've ever seen and very large tarpon from Bob Hall in early 70's. Wish I could put them all on here. I'll try to take a pic of a couple of the best with my digital and post em. Gator is right though, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.
