You're gonna need a lot more than that if you plan in chumming.

Menhaden makes the best chum with their oily flesh. Great Redfish bait!

X2 it is my all time favorite bait, live, dead even frozen for inshore(seen 28inch reds eat whole 10in shad(menhaden)) and offshore fishing...closely followed by ribbon fish...

BTW, crabs must be five inches across to keep and those look a bit small. Then again you've already said that you don't care what the law says in a previous post.

Check your facts....if you are trying to start an argument at least get your facts right.

I was checking out the crab regs the other day and I am still confused. It says they must be 5"wide but with the following exception. I know in the past when people buy dead shrimp it often has quite a few small 1"- 2" crabs in it. Is it illegal to posses them?

* Except that not more than 5% by number of undersized blue crabs may be possessed for bait purposes only and must be placed in a separate container.

Are they referring to 5% of your total catch? = 1 bait crab for 20 keepers? I was looking because they make great live baits for ling if the weather ever permitted me to go btb.
