I may have posted this before here or on Facebook. I was doing a little house cleaning on my desktop and came across this picture of the drum lines the guys use around here with the cut wooden dowels.

Crab scent i believe...
ill never forget when i pointed a new commercial fisherman in the right direction...one line and he had more drum then his boat could handle it was just insane _________________

It's called "stick fishin'". Kinda cool, we often catch oversize redfish that have a staging with hook and wooden dowel it has broken off the main trotline still in it's mouth.
