for live bait on bob hall use a cast net or sabiki rig.. the cast net will work better in a few weeks(i throw a 7footer)...get a long rope on your livewell so you can keep em alive...for the kings you will most likely put up a slide line or fish live bait under a float...



posted this a few days ago.. this is the most productive method for chasing kings on bob hall..

went to the pier earlier still closed, was told it would be open Friday...

Bob Halls phone # is (361)949-7300 in case any7one wants to call before actually goin over there...

I have paddled out in very big surf just for fun as well as ran some baits in big stuff. I have also had my butt handed to me numerous times. Just make sure you have a solid paddle leash, life jacket and a hard head (or helmet). Getting out is usually the easier part. Getting in without rolling the yak is the tough part.
