Just suck it, it works! If anyone jokes about this I will beat you with the rod holder. This is by far the easiest and fastest way to set a PVC rod holder into moist sand. Even though the technique is not very appealing, it works great.
I made it popular and proud of it.
Second best is to use a shrimp pump.
Third is a post hole digger.
Then a sharpshooter shovel.

no i don't been in cc for a few years i was in an ambulance a few years back maybe he remembers me but i don't remember him not off the bat anyways _________________ vamos a la pesca!!
I have used the bottom half of a beach umbrella, the kind with what looks like a prop molded onto the part that goes in the sand. Just twisted it in and it held fine...
