took a little trip to bob hall with a buddy

got to the pier and saw bonito cruising all around the pier couldn't hook one

saw some familiar faces, three jack cravalle were landed early in the day

we got the fish in the pic, caught a few more sheepies some released and some given to others..a buddy gave us the two smacks Wink

our terminal gear was a 80lb spro swivel and a 3/0 Owner all purpose bait hook tied together with about 3feet of 30lb fluorocarbon with a split shot half way up the leader, fished the south side of the T...just drop live shrimp to the bottom if you feel a tiny dink set the hook its a 20inch sheepie Wink

Today was our first fishing experience on Bob Hall Pier. Had a wonderful time. Really liked the pier, the people were very friendly, caught lots of undersized bonnet head shark and saw Pompano, Jack Cravalle and a few Spanish Mackerel caught by others.
All in all, it was a pleasurable outing. Came home with fillets from a 33" black tip shark the lady next to us caught and didn't want.
Even got to thank Shark Bait for his prior fishing reports.
