Well, I had to work the weekend so unable to hit the water. I have seen a few reports of very stained water south. Anyone have any ideas on clear water? My fishing guest had family come in at the last minute and I'm still gonna go. Taking the flats boat out and maybe thinking boat hole or deadmans. Have been doing really great last couple of weeks around KRS but, if the water is that stained I'm gonna hold off fishing south. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I think your best bet is to head north. Just my opinion.

Thanks Zia, If the stained water is brown tide, how bad can the fishing be? Juat wandering if I should still give south a try or go into areas I dont normally fish north.

I caught a lower slot red and 2 trout on a super spook jr. at Shamrock. Found the fish early in the flats. Later in the day I couldn't get them to touch any soft plastics. The water was clearer up there.
