Went to "Porno Flats" which is Nueces Bay oposite of Indian Point, fairly shallow, with tons of oyster reefs, not much grass beds though.

The launch, if you search around you can find some shell hash to get into the water, otherwise it's freakin deep mud!

Met Oscar & Joe (w/Yak Shak)

checked out the marsh restoration areas
varied depths from 2' to deeper than I wanted to lean over and find out

Joe's catch

I got a 23.5 & 15.5 Trout , casted top water across the reef to deeper side and brought it over the top and it was on. Got a red there a while back same tactics.... So if you go your gonna need a top water & some leader the water can get skinny at the top.

nice chuck! man, does that mud look like hell for wading... Shocked

I have been wanting to fish the restoration area for a year or so. I am bringing my yak to the yakshack to get some work done, so that might be just the right excuse to get out an explore that area. I will let you know when I'm going.

That's where The PornXXXDVD place is at on the Portland causeway. Named for that.

Much to the dismay of many ( sarcasm inserted here )
The old Adult Video store closed. So now there is a Kayak shop located there. I have not stopped in yet, but he appears to be cleaning up the buildings and has kayaks for rent, sale ???

And best of All I do not have to pass the building with my ten year old asking what kinda of store that is.
