Ordered this bad boy about a month ago and went and picked it up in San Marcos today. From what I can see the wait was well worth it. Installed a anchor trolley and rod holder upon returning anticipating on getting out tomorrow.

Those are good looking kayaks. The choices expand as the market enlarges. Many more kayak models have come out over the last 6 to 7 years.
This model is hot right now, but it comes down to a kayak is a kayak. I have been wondering what the Jackson Cudas do better than others. That is for my information and not a cut. I just wasn't sure why they are so popular right now.
They look a lot like an Ocean Kayak Trident or Trident Ultra 4.3s from the pictures to me, but I've never seen one in person.

The seat moves up and down, in the pic it's in the high position. It's a very stable yak, remember these yaks are made to stand in. With the seat in the high position it's a little hard to paddle but for a drift it works great, that extra 8 inches really helps you see down into the water to see bait or fish. |
