Hello everyone,
I have been sitting on the side lines for over a year now without corresponding simply because i am not very good at the computer compared to my wife and kids and i get so much entertainment from reading all the posts.

As a kid i lived in Corpus for a while... My Mother was born there and for many years just about all my cousins and other relatives from my Mother's side lived there. We used to fish the flats in an old john boat and always caught fish it seems. Did lots of wading also. Although i still come to Corpus several times a year with my family fishing it will never be the same as when i was a kid. On Saturday morning we would load up and go to Tipp's Cafe and my uncle Emitt Ford would order Brain's and eggs just to gross us kids out....... Those were the days gone by,but it's good to remember simpler times.

Thank You for the Welcome Tyler. You have put together one of the best sites on the web for Saltwater anglers. It really helps feed my fishing addiction. Yes Unc was a cool guy. Little man with a big heart....
