Went to SPI to see how things were and try to fish some. Hit the beach off access rd 6 about 10:30. Lots and lots of colored surf. A good amount of small dead fish. Sad. Drove north 7miles or so finally found a small area to try to fish. Put out 4 rods with cut mullet and shrimp. Nada. Decided to head to the south jetty. Really sad drive, lots of dead fish including 50 or more bull reds.... Disturbing... Hopefully, the beach will rebound soon.

some of the reds are living through it there were big schools of them at bob hall 2day
