Wow what a slow weekend. Only had one run and it ended up not being the record bullred I so desperately tried for. This king hit a live mullet in the second gut. It cut off the first hook drop but lassoed itself with the remaining 2 hook drops...pretty wild. Had a blast with my family. We all agree one sharkathon a year is enough for us haha

Nice catch, I Had that happen last years shark a thon tournament .
Three days of hard fishing all day and some night fishing and nada,
One trout and i think one red. Cool

Finsonpins...I was using a hand tied leader with 100# suffix leader. Pretty much just a heavy duty version of the store bought leaders but longer 8" between drops and 6" hook drops. I don't use this setup typically. Much rather use a fishfinder or breakaway pulley rig . I was trying something new
