It did feel a little pompish this morning. Gotta finish dove season first though!

well, the doves here are kinda scarace due to the fact that all our fields are mostly bare dirt. even the tea-weed is small and not much seed.

had a decent shoot last week (mostly really young birds) and pretty sorry the last few days, hence the pomp question.

since the days have held in the low '90's, surf fishing is looking alot more appealling than when we had triple digit temps last week.

Shot dove limits near San Diego on Saturday afternoon; hit the surf south of BHP for a couple of hours Sunday morning; little to no bait in the water and couldn't find much more than hardheads!

kurt, i caught about a doz pomps fishing for bait sat morning. They didnt have any size to em yet, the largest being about 2 !/2 lbs. Shouldnt be long though.

Lol...no i couldnt find any one to go, good thing though i havnt moved off the couch in two days.......its hell gettin old!
