Hit the water Sat. We trolled with some ribbonfish and landed a 100" sailfish. This was my first trip to the blue water and a big shout out to Captain Mike Hart for taking me. Here is a pic of us letting her go to fight another day.

I know of another boat that caught a sailfish 8 miles out of Port A drifting a ribbon by a shrimp boat on Saturday. Must have been a good day for sailfish. How far out were you when you caught your's?

We were at the rigs right out of the Packery. I don't know how far that is.

I have no clue how far out those rigs are. They didn't seem 7 miles out. I should have asked the 6 or 7 guys on yaks. When I hooked up with this fish I couldn't help but wonder what would happen if I was in a kayak. I think I would have ended up in Florida.

We were drifting right by you guys and watched the show. Saw 3 airborne jumps.
