First stop was 2 min. HH. Threw a bone top dog with a trailer glow shrimp. Caught 1 trout and a red that was just into the slot so I let it go.

Hit the flats, already hot and sticky, and picked up an 18" flounder on a tequila gold eel. Didn't see any reds pushing water. Fished the west drop off of the ICW next. Picked up 7 keeper trout among the 30-40 dinks. Was fishing with glow/char soft plastics. By now it was 9:30, sweat dripping off my face, t-shirt soaked, dog panting really bad so I sent him out for a swim. Headed home. Did I mention that it was hot out there.

Here are the fish that Mary will be giving to co-workers who have helped her get the new school year started.

Is that a sandy? Nice haul. I heard it was pretty hot out there today. Wink

Yeah that bottom one is a sandy. I couldn't believe how hot it was out there. After getting off the computer earlier I went out back and my dog threw up all the sushi he ate. I finally put him in my workshop and turned on the A/C for him.

He's better than having kids. Loyal, never talks back, and never asks for money. He's always looking to please and all he wants is a little pat on the head every now and then.
