I know there has been a lot of discussion on tower boats so here's one more for you. I was out in Big Bayou (Rockport) last Tuesday and noticed a tower boat in some very skinny water. No one on board but activity around it. Another boater was fishing close to me and said the boat was capsized in the channel when he got there that morning. It had capsized the day before and they had just gotten it right side up. Got back to the dock and mentioned it and was told they been there the day before and that the tower was homemade and was made of galvanized pipe 1 1/2" dia. There were four large adults on board. My guess is they all got up on it at the same time leand to one side and took a swim. Luckily no one was hurt or drowned. Just goes to show you that you can't ever tell what people will do. Small boat + big galvanized pipe tower = swim. I'm sure that there a plans on some web site you can go to and build one yourself. Wink

OK it was an Aggie driver who has issues with the high center of gravity concept....you would think driving tractors would learn them. Those difficult principles of high math and physics are indeed best left to Horns.

The longhorn boat owner, let his Aggie friends borrow the boat. Very Happy
