Is there any good Resturants or places to eat in Port Mansfield? Going there possibly on Saturday to do a search mission for the retirement years. I have'nt been there in 30+ years. _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |

Fisherman's Inn
1000 Laguna & Legion Dr, Port Mansfield, TX (956) 944-2882
There are a couple of others Stan but I don't remember the names.
Not a whole lot to choose from.
You cab drive back to Raymondville and there are some eatin' places there. There was a good steak house between Raymondville and Lyford.

We're going down next week to Weslaco to pick up another dog. To bad we all can't ride down together.

| El Jefe's located on the water is a great place for some good food and some good adult beverages. Especially enjoyable when watching the boats come in. |

Fishermans Inn is shut down and closed. That leaves El Jeffes, The Wind Jammer and a BBQ place on the right going into town. El Jeffes seems to br the most popular. _________________ Off Shore Port Mansfield |

| But the BBQ is a great place to eat as well. It is run by an older couple that decided to retire in port mansfield and open a bbq shack. Support the locals and you cant go wrong. |

what a doggie bag. let me see what they got. I'm going to look at property, taxes, medical facilities, I need to see it for myself. I grew up In Harlingen, we used to go to P.M. and fish and bring home stringers of 13 inch redfish. _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |

Stan,
My wife and I visited Mansfield a few weeks ago with the same intentions, looking for a weekend get away. We were not impressed at all. The area has become dilapidated. You might be able to find a bargin though... _________________ CARPE DIEM |

Not a bad place to visit, somewhat of a let down. Got back home early. Do to the fact that walmart and heb is to far away. Its a no go for sure. However it would be a good place for another bed and breakfast.
Fish tacos tonight.... _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |
