I was out all day fishing and caught nothing but perch. I didn't see one person catch anything else than perch. I tried every bait and different lure I had. I guess the fishing gods were out for me.

Sounds like you got dropped off. Next time go somewhere else while the tide you are fishing is still moving water. Like south packery, the packery bridge. Backside of mustang. Drive the beach south. Maybe even bob hall or caldwell pier or the Port A jetties. Hell, there is always a bar nearby when the fishing sucks that close to North Padre. Oh, wait! I get it! There was a ton of bunda walking down the jetty all day. Never mind. Forget what I said.

Dude, it was the worst day fishing I've had in a long time. Two nights ago I was in my cousin's boat and we were hitting the lights out on the canals and I was blowing up the water. Must have caught upwards of 15 trout. 6 were Keepers. I kept two. But what a reversal.

Landed some nice trout just a hundred yards or so north of the NP jetties yesterday. Bone Skitters... Skippies were thick too. Bite did not turn on until the sun just hit the dunes.
