We headed down friday night to the cabin and fished around baffin and rocky slough.... started around 6:30 the next morning and had our limits of trout by 8:15 of so. Pretty good fishing. We didn't manage any big sows, but most were decent from 17-21". Size seems to be down on average from a few weeks ago, but still plenty of fish.

| work was done, and the fish are gone.... had some good friend visit from out of town. They kept talking about the last time they ate fish it wasn't that good (catfish from trinity river I think?) ....I couldn't allow them to leave the house without eating some of my (self proclaimed) world famous fried trout. Sent a couple pounds of fillets home with them. They said it was great compared to what they usually eat. pretty cool to share the fish with people that normally don't get the chance to eat it. |
