So my uncle calls me (text) at 6am to wade fish at Shamrock Cove. I tell him its too far of a drive, he calls he a sissy and leaves it at that. i get another call at 10 am its him telling he that there is a school of drum around him and he has caught his limit of them. I go out this afternoon and nada for me, total he kept 5 drum and 2 reds. Live mullett and live shrimp under popping cork.

I predict he's never going to let you live it down, and will be brought up at all family gatherings

na hes a cool guy. I would have liked to see those drum school though, bet it was a sight. I think im going to wade fish more often, I was hurt on the job and can't do much now. It was a bit therapeutic and low impact. Better than walking at a park

Kayak and boat is safer cause the driving can get burly way fast.
It looks like solid ground, but it is mostly that clay sand and it's a slip and slide.

Go in by the boat ramp and head north, sometimes it's marked, but be freakin careful!!!

I won't drive, I would rather paddle an extra mile or two than get stuck in that stuff
