Went out for an hour and a half wading in chest deep water with a heck of a current from an incoming tide. First wade turned up nothing then we switched sides of the road and waded about 100yds and started hitting some really nice trout. We hooked up on 5 or 6 but only got 2 up to us. All the trout hooked were over 20" but kept spitting the hook while thrasing around. The two we did get up two us were 22" and 25". Both were extremely fat and released to make some babies. We were throwing pearl arti's with chartruese tails by reaction strike. Working them slow and deep in a really strong current that would drag the bait 50ft or more to the left before we worked them in to us.

Somehow I lost my coated steel stinky pants stringer that was black with a tan float. If some honest person found it near the oso bridge and wants to return it I will give a small reward I dont really have funds to buy another one.

Thanks...

thanks for the report. I have also had a bunch of luck with that lil white/chart thingamajig at that spot when there is clear water from the incoming tide. Way to go on the release too. I will be in that area some time this weekend and I'll keep a look out for your stringer, but you know how the current is there, could be back by yorktown at this point Sad
