Here we go again.
When I got up it was 50 at 5:00, it's now 7:45 and it's 25. Lot's of wind. Coming your way to CC. Get every thing that can blow away tied down. Supposed to sleet here this morning. Temps are supposed to do nothing but drop. _________________ Diplomacy is the art of saying "Nice doggie" until you can find a rock.

We had the same temp drop up here in Mertzon last night. 53 down to 26 in one hour. It's 15 degrees here now with a light dusting of snow.
Electricity went out overnight for 3 1/2 hours so this morning I have no water. Love this country living. |

Looks like another hard freeze for you guys. Not saying I am hating the 78418 right now. _________________

Misery misery misery. Came home this evening and scooped tons of ficus leaves (from last weeks freeze) into my green monster. Big dead ficus wood....probably not something that would add flavor to a brisket. Sad. _________________

Let it dry out, and you will be amazed how little it weighs. We had a 25+ foot ficus tree that had to be removed a few years back, and the wet wood weighed a TON. Didn't take long to dry out, but it was like balsa when finally dry. |
