This is on 90 acres just south of Hamilton that a friend of mine owns.He doesnt like to deer hunt so I take care of the feeders and blinds and i get to hunt it exclusively with my wife and kids. I have been watching the big buck in velvet now for 3 years. Have pictures of him every year and he keeps getting bigger. However , i have yet to see him when i am in the stand. You think he's ready to shoot? He looks like he still could grow
another year..

The hogs die, the deer walks. That's my opinion. He's got at least 2 more years to grow.

I shoot as many hogs as possible but that is a losing game. they just keep coming back. My only concern about the big buck is i have a guy behind me that shoots anything that walks. if it makes the minimum 13" , outside the ears spread as required by TPWD he shoots it. He wouldnt think twice about shooting this one.
